I didn't mean criticism is invalid. But there is a difference between blowing off an idea because it conflicts with personal beliefs and refuting an idea with intelligent criticism (which still does not necessarily invalidate an idea). But to refute an idea you must understand it and the reasoning behind it and the limitations of the people who created it. We are all limited... even those with high IQ may lack empathy or intuition which are also valid means for truth-seeking.
