Both, of course. There are scientific illiterates who think it is valid on the judgment of other people who claim to understand it, and there are scientists who believe it because they think about how it should be applied but not why it should be applied, and there are people who believe in it because they have thought about it and see that it need not be true, but just like to believe in it and see no reason to stop.

OK, the reason that is reasonable is, in the span of time between a few months ago and when I started posting again a few weeks ago, I wasn't on at all. To find them, go down until you don't see "sambersil" in bold print anymore, then go again until you do see it. When you do see it again, those will be my philosophy posts.
