somehow, I would doubt one could have sufficient credible description of his behaviour to even attempt to go further and speculate on his motivation. So much is myth - what was the man really like? - I doubt any existing person will ever know. If he were to reserect to the present I reckon he would be totally overwelmed by it all - would he identify himself at all in the bible? - too many people have affected the written history I would guess
