My Five friend's mother was in and out of hospital a lot when he was 3 and onwards with a potentially fatal medical problem. He also did not identify with or feel mirrored by his father at all. : believe much of my own intellectual curiosity comes from not knowing about my origins. I tend to be very interested in the origins of things, words, different peoples, ideas - I like to be able to trace where things came from. But then I'm a Four, not a Five. It seems to me that Fives want to get it all mapped out. I also share the love of the big picture, but I'm not sure if it's for the same reason. Oddly Fives don't seem to map things out in their own lives, they don't seem to look ahead and plan. I believe that I am a five. Although I can't speak for others I can tell you that I do make plans for my future and consider many things that may or may not be if i do or don't do this or that. Or map out how things might happen if....what if this what if that. I rarely put any plans into action though. I more enjoy just thinking/day dreaming about it.
