He's definitely phobic too.

Actually I do think animals can be typed, but only rudimentarily.

THE ENNEAGRAM OF DOGS
One: The calm, obeying dog that follows your command
Two: The affectionate, playful dog that cuddles up next to you
Three: The excitable, talented dog often found on sitcoms and dog shows
Four: The solitary, moody dog that bites you if provoked.
Five: The quiet, curious dog that's always staring at you.
Six: The nervous, loyal dog that's friendly (phobic). The jittery, tenacious dog that barks at strangers who come to the house (counterphobic).
Seven: The energetic power dog who is constantly running around the place, tearing up furniture, and having sex with all the dogs in the neighborhood.
Eight: The aggressive, bullying dog which tries to start fights with other dogs in the street.
Nine: The peaceful, gentle dog who is always taking a nap and hanging out around the house.

: Of course they can be typed! Sheesh! Just, I doubt there are too many fours, fives, or sixes in animals. I wonder what type amoebas are (I doubt they have different personalities).
