That's a good point.

I'm a 5w4 INTJ and my boyfriend is a 6w5 INTJ. We are extraordinarily different people. What you have described sounds like something my boyfriend would be more likely to do than me. Maybe the guy you were seeing is a some kind of a 5/6 combination. I think it may be easier to explain his behavior if that was the case.

Maybe there are gender-related issues as well, in which case I probably can't offer much insight.
