: i find myself listening to Tool, Prodigy, Pantera (some), The Pixies, Incubus, and Nine Inch Nails (some) while I work. for relaxation i sometimes listen to DJ Shadow, Philip Glass, Garbage, Chopin (some of my favorite all time music is by Chopin) and occasionally U2 oddly enough.

: i don't really listen to any bands for their "message," as perhaps some do with Tool or Rage Against The Machine, but instead simply for the sound of it. i find electronic sounds to be helpful when i am thinking deeply about a problem.
