: : schrips, you are either a 4/5 or a 5/4. you are not both. being a 4/5 is not being "half four and half 5", either. there are two types of 4, a 4/5 and a 4/3. both are, at their very core, 100% 4, and manifest that 4ness in slightly different ways. same goes for a 5/4 and a 5/6, or any other set of suptypes. : So what's all this talk about being a 4w7 or whatever? : : 5/4s like to think they're really loners, adventurous and passionate, the one in a million. we'd like to think we're 4s, some have even been caught claiming to "feel deeply". but we're not 4s. 54s are quite often painfully apathetic. and 5s are much more focused on their mental abilities than 45s. that is, they play games apon games all day long just to use their minds in new ways. 54s often pick up things like programming, chess, math, physics, and so on with remarkable ease. the evil genius archetypical villian is almost always a 5 who, tho evil, is so unhealthy that he is a crazy man, but who is still very intelligent. 54s may "feel deeply" but they'd never know. : Gee, that's me! Earlier on this board I was trying to find my type, and what you describe fits me. I am not saying that it is ALL of me, but there is nothing there that mismatches. (after all, what is your identity but your type and your memories, the what and the way of thinking and self consiousness?) are you just gonna forget your childhood? forget decades of a particular way of organizing your thoughts?? these are things that are learned FIRST, before you start to learn things like your name or what your hands are for. : The brain is a LOT more plastic than you think. Also, of course it doesn't happen "overnight" - it can take a long time. (note: that includes "spiritual transofrmation".) but, a personality type, as you will find when you learn more about each type, is a very very dynamic entity. in being a 54, i am angry, happy, loving, excited, depressed, ambitious, scared, interested, embarrassed, you name it. the thing is, i do all those things IN THE WAY that a 54 does them. every type is a human personality, from top to bottom. each type describes your health and your unhealth, in total detail and accuracy. : Have you EVER had a spiritual transformation? I seriously doubt it. A spiritual transformation is JUST THAT. I had one - lasted a year.
