No offense to anyone, but I have to agree with Josie on this one. A person can grow, and progress through degrees of ego liberation throughout their life. But for what Charlie is saying to be correct, we would have to become completelt liberated from our ego structures during this lifetime. That would mean that it is possible for a person to be perfect. That would mean that a person could become God. But I see no evidence that anyone has ever or could ever become completely ego liberated. Nor do I see evidence of people suddenly (or gradually) turning into God. If you don't agree with the God part of this, then disregard it. My argument stands without it. But suffice it to say that it is not the goal of ego liberation that matters, as we will never reach it. It is the process of ego liberation that matters, and it is only fulfilling to the degree that we engage in the process instead of concentrating on the goal.
