Actually if I recall correctly there wasn't a single ENTP Six in the entire sample of 1,400 results... don't think there were more than two or three ENFP's either...

Peter posted a series of remarks about the use of statistics last year, which made a number of good points,
the major point being that the data is only as good as your method of collection.
Personally, I have just enough of a maths background to be very wary when people cite numbers at me.

There may be 1400 entries, but the actual sample size is smaller - I gather from remarks on this board
that I am not the only person here who has taken the RHETI several times. (Actually that's something you
should add to your tests - 'have you taken this test before?')

More pertinently, the mechanisms of the RHETI mean that ENTPs just will score highly on Three, Seven and
Eight, on all the tests against One, Two, Four, Five, Nine. This increases the chance that the top score
won't be Six. Also, I believe that the RHETI is slanted towards the more withdrawn phobic Sixes.

I'm basing my statements on the table in Baron and Wagele. That lists Six as Common for both ENP types.
(as opposed to Very Common, Uncommon or Rare). Now the numerical basis isn't given so one can't be sure what
exactly the results mean (taken at face value Ns vastly outnumber Ss). However, I presume the results are
based upon findings at conferences, which I think would be more reliable.
