As an unwanted child myself, I consider there are greater sorrows, one being abortion, and the thought that it could easily have been me.

Comparing abortion to the Holocaust is like comparing two different fruits, one that is round and red and the other that is round but orange.

I wasn't comparing abortion to anything. Neither was I likening it to The Holocaust, by which I assume you mean the 20th century Jewish one, but to A holocaust, ie 'a great destruction or loss of life' (Collins English Dictionary Definition). There have been many holocausts, including other Jewish ones and that of the burning of so-called witches in Europe and hanging of so-called witches in England.

Even if it were suggested as a comparison, in any comparison there are similarities and differences, that's the whole point in comparing something, and you simile of the two types of fruit is hardly a criticism.]
