You should know better than to ask me questions like that. You know, or should know, that enneatype can't predict behavior. How many times over how many seasons have I had to remind some people of that?
> A Four is in search of self, so there's no reason why ESTJ Fours can't be on here.
And how many "Extravert Sensates" of any type do you know who live vicariously, to any degree, on internet web boards? Your point about MB type applying to the realm of observable behavior is well-taken. And we should consider also that Enneatype is comepletely out of the scope of this "who-does-what" argument.
> I guess we can't answer this question properly unless we did some study on people.
There are general rules here. Enneatype is motivating force. MB type is mode of self-expression. And so forth.
> You can only really classify people by what they have in common.
Though the basis for "commonness" may not be observable, i.e., Enneatype.
> I've had some astrological readings of me and they seemed quite accurate.
Do you believe anything about yourself that some "trusted authority" outside yourself decrees? Don't be insulted or taken aback by that question, please. Consider seriously its implications. I truly believe that people who put stock in astrology and the like are essentially people who are hopelessly confused about themselves, and, on seme level, starving for some outer authority to define them.
> It may or may not be a coincedence. I'm not into it or anything, so I won't defend it, however, have you had your chart read?
If some bloke is willing to come over and give me an "authoritative" one for free, and I've got nothing better to do, then I might try. But asking that question is like asking, "Have you counted the blades of grass in your lawn yet? Then how do you know this-and-that for sure?" Some of us put more stock in our common sense than others do.
> I got mine, wasn't as accurate as an MB or enneagram description, but pretty close surprisingly.
I might suggest, also, that such "readings" are general enough to apply to anyone. An exaggerated example would be somebody telling me, "I can clairvoyantly see that you take all your meals before... A DINING TABLE!" Of course, this kind of hoopla in astrology is not that incredulous, but the same basic idea applies.
