Thanx for making these interesting comments on a quantum view of
reality and the egram!

I think you are on a very productive track to be thinking about
this connnection.

Have you looked at Wolinsky's books on "quantum psychology" and the
enneagram? The Tao of Chaos by him seems up your alley since he applies
quantum physics to the egram.

Also, A.H. Almaas' work on "the Diamond Approach", while somewhat
one-sided, is a useful way to make more sense of what Wolinsky is
getting at. Almaas has a Ph.d in advanced physics, knows a lot about
the egram, object relations theory and sufi spirituality.

In esoteric spirituality, the relationship of the zero to the one is
critical, i.e., the void and the instantiation of reality. At all levels
of consciousness we have the choice of taking a step up or down from
where we are. There is a constant interplay of particle and wave, of
certainty and uncertainty. Jung got near it with his idea of
enantiodrama where any definite concept would turn into its opposite
if pushed all the way to its extreme. Basically, the meaning of life
is always "between the lines" and can never be stated in a literalized
form, there will always be a mysterious aspect that gets free --uncertainty
principle.

If you take a pan of boiling water out into the Antarctic storm it remains
liquid for a few seconds as you toss the water out into the cold air.
The water will FREEZE into a solid form that literalizes the moment
that you threw it out there. It represents a frozen moment in time.
The words and thought systems we use to 'explain' a fleeting understanding
of satori or god, etc. are like that frozen shape the living water
of understanding takes. Like the particle/wave paradox, now you see
it now you don't!

Thanx again for the interesting comments, Gigi!
