If we look at the entity as a particle we get a sense of the isolated part at the expense of the whole (the spreading out wave). It is the same with Personality Types. Focusing on the motivations or other definite manifestations of the motivations costs us perspective on the human being. Gaining perspective distances us from the deatils. So there is uncertainty, indeterminacy, unpredictability built into the human behavior.
