The Enneagram does match up nicely with Christianity. The first quaternity of the Enneagram matches with the Christian quaternity that Carl Jung played with. The conventional Enneagram of Process (Vine thru Life I call it) is a form to spirit transformation that has more to do with an openness to the "Word of God" so to speak than with "Love thy neigbor". Using Timothy Leary circumplexes one can rearrange the points to form an Enneagram of Development (Sowing the Seeds) which is a democracy to harmony transformation which I think matches better with "Love thy neighbor". There's also an Enneagram of Consulting (Fruit of the Vine) with a mediator to protege transformation. The Enneagram matches with the Buddhist Wheel of Life also. The Wheel of Life has Law of 7 and Law of 3 patterns just like the Enneagram but the Wheel of Life has 12 points instead of 9. The Enneagram is kind of a "phase transformation" subset of the Wheel of Life. The Enneagram & MBTI tests both I believe measure innate personality biases. Enneagram users tend to be more aware of the need to optimize traits they are biased towards and against but the MBTI has levels of maturity for its traits too. I actually think there's a better Enneagram personality model than the RHETI. I prefer an Enneagram with no extraversion or introversion biases for example since I don't think extraversion/introversion effects the form to spirit transformation. My model also has three "unused" Enneagram points to match with the three extra points for the Wheel of Life. The Enneagram also fits nicely with quaternionic algebra/physics geometries & dimensions.
