Hi Jason,
MBTI, ENNEAGRAM, They're all a load of bollocks really, like your Reading Age and your IQ. They just say You are this Number, or You are this String of Letters. But the Enneagram (contrary to the Enneagram mores) is a valuable tool for figuring out what makes people tick. It's not about people's behaviour, as we often hear on this page, but about their motivation. The beauty of the Enneagram is that nobody decides for you, you are a this or that, Saggitarian or something, YOU say, OK, I am, a --. And Also you decide, My Boss Is A --. If he decides that he is something else, tough shit, we all know he's delusional anyway.
I am just a poor boy, and my story's seldom told,
And my opinion isn't worth nothin'
but the Enneagram is to me the only meaningful psychological tool developed in the 20th, the century of Psychology.
None of this stuff is important enough to take over your life, but I have used it to see through lots of bullshit both in myself and in other people.
Drunk as ever,
gus
