I don't know why you put this under this thread about Cory being let out of hospital.
Why would the following make me feel good or make me want to love them.
Margaret Thatcher = 18 years of depression in every sense, ruined my youth.
Pope Jean Paul II = Hierarchical leader of a repressive regime.
Andy Warhol = post-modernist pratt of the first order.
Abraham Lincoln = somewhat rascist and hypocritical.
Elvis Presley = supremely naff singer who died of over-eating.
Robin Williams makes me feel very good, and I like Sally Field, but the rest of them, well who can claim to know that much about them. I don't believe in having heroes; Mother Theresa had severe shortcomings.
Basically, we have all sinned and fallen short, which is another way of saying that we're all screwed up in our own way, and we'll all find our own style of redemption and redemptiveness, so what is the point in holding up these celebrity figures as role models. We are not them and they are not us. We're all individuals. Just because we may share the same Enneagram type or MBTI configuration, doesn't mean that we should imitate them or aim to be like them. The end product has nothing to do with what each individual needs to do. eg. If I as a Four move to One, will I end up like a celebrity Four? No, of course not. I'll just be myself with a few less faults - it's no big deal.
