colored crayons

My most vivid memories are from when I was 5 and up... lots of memories! Lots of little adventures.
But my earliest earliest memories, as a general recollection, is me drawing. Sitting and drawing with my sister, with colored crayons... and running to show my parents and feeling so good when they would say how great it was, or what an artist I was...! I do remember one summer with my sister - I was 5 I think - we got all the small "leftover" crayons and put them together and left them outside in the sun and they melted, and we made a ball and drew with the multi-colored crayon :)
I also remember our first house, an A-frame, the really high ceiling, and walking up the spiral staircase it had, and the shaggy white/cream color carpet... Very 70's look!
I remember my dad getting my sister and me ready for school, brushing our hair and putting it in pony-tails, and getting into the car to go to school, and saying "toros, toros, toros...!" as if we were on our way to a bullfight. We used to laugh a lot with that...
