Did 5s and 6s have a lot of fear in childhood? I remember being afraid of many things...

-skeletons
-the ocean (because I almost drowned twice)
-this picture of an old indian chief
-pictures of icelandic mummies
-at a halloween fair of a guy in the Quaker Oats man costume

there were much more. I just think I had more fear than normal for most kids.

About Four abandonment...I was in pre-school and babysitting alot before I was 5. Once my mom asked me if I resented her for leaving me with them all the time. This was a couple of years ago. I said No. I do remember one babysitter, Michelle, who I always got punished by. She made me sit alone in an empty room, and I remember pretending I was an oil well. Really! Where I grew up there were these oil wells which looked a bit like horses and they went up and down, and I got on my hands and knees, sorta doing push-up like motions, pretending I was an oil well.

I had strong metaphorical abilities at that age. I remember trying to ride two tricycles at once, pretending I was flying a TIE Fighter from Star Wars =o) Oh yes, I loved Star Wars, He-Man, and Care Bears.
