It's possible you are a 3 (desire to be important and well-liked) due to "abandonment" in childhood. Maybe 3s and 4s experience the same thing, except they React a different way. 3s try harder to be liked, 4s think there is something wrong with themselves. I could see the motivation of the 2 coming from the same place.
