Wow, that's great. I'm not sure I understand a whole lot of this, but I know one thing. When my self-preserve sub-type life goes down the hill (ie. my recent job experience yesterday), so does my ability to deal with rejection from the other two, social and intimates. But when it gets up and going again, I can more easily 'handle' ('take') blows (rejection) in my intimate and social life. (Not that I like it though, I'm just saying that I'm able to move on, that's all.) So the three really connect, like dominoes, with the main sub-type determining one's ability to handle the others. (Ok, the intimate blows are the second hardest to take.)
