Good question, Dave, and I wish I had THE answer for it.
I have the relation between the egram and MBTI figured out
in practical terms, but the theoretical/esoteric underpinning
of the two systems seems to hinge on a better understanding
of the mystical aspects of the relation of the numbers
3 and 4. I'm working on it but am not there yet, though I am
sure that various people who have a much deeper mastery
of the core of the esoteric traditions know what it is,
probably somewhere around 5,000 people on the planet.
