Read through the archives of J5's posts to see what the real meaning of condescending is. I am not an aggressive personality but if someone is going to ridicule the members of this board for as long as Johnny has then I'm going to do everything I can to give him a taste of his own medicine. True, this post and some of his other posts lately have been much more reasonable and productive to the purpose of this board. But when someone says something to the effect of "you are all too stupid to see the true enneagram," and then refers to the works of important enneagram authors like Riso and Palmer as the "pop enneagram" in a condescending tone himself, then I'm not going to hesitate to make the guy look like the fool he is as much as possible.
As a 5w6, Johnny has realized that he has to be more charming in order to get any respect on this board. He seems to be doing pretty well at charming you all. Personally, I do get a lot out of being here and reading your insights, even if I don't agree with many of them. I think too many of you use superstition to fill a void that you all feel within yourselves. The enneagram becomes a symbol of superstition to all of you instead of what it really is, a system of quantifying personality and probably one of the most important tools developed in the search to create artificial life. I'll probably be long dead by that time but mark my words that this is just the beginning and life as we know it is going to change based simply upon the discussions that appear on this board.
I've always been like this. I don't like being ridiculed, I don't like seeing others ridiculed. I'll use what is my strength as a weapon to fight back and my strengths include both my ability to reason and my ability to write. If others have a problem with that then too bad because I've long ago quit caring what others think about me. If people are going to dislike you even when you try to please them, then you might as well not give a s**t about pleasing them. And I would say that's pretty much me today.
