:Your enneatype may be your core personality, but it's your core worldview from which your personality develops. Your MBTI is part of how your personality proceeses what you're focused ona nd paying attention to, and what you're motivated and driven to do (your enneatype). It doesn't change, but you may become clearer on it as you become more self-aware, so if you have a strong wing, it often appears as your primary type. Later on t your core type becomes clear. Defense mechanisms arise secondariky as a result of your worldview, and is a portion of type, not the main characteristic.
