: : I would think it would have to be the other way around, since one's
: : enneagram type never changes, whereas one's Myers-Briggs type changes
: : constantly and is, in the end, expected to cease to exist (the ideal state
: : being to have all one's functions in perfect balance).

: I have to disagree about your enneagram type never changing. When I first took
: the enneagram back in October, I was a 5w4. I have changed a great deal since
: then, and I am now a 4w5.

: I don't really know about the differences in what the enneagram and the MBTI
: measure, but they both describe personalities and a person's motiviations,
: and these things certainly CAN change. I would even go so far as to say that
: they SHOULD change--otherwise, you're not growing as a person. This doesn't
: necessarily mean a change in type; you could just move more towards the
: "healthy" side of your type, but changing types is also a possibility.

I have to disagree about your enneagram type changing. It simply isn't
consistent with the theory. One or the other of your test results has
been wrongly interpreted.
