I test really high as a 5 too (my strong wing), but I notice that when my 5 scores are larger than my 4 score, something's up with my environment (people fighting, family conflicts, etc.) I have noticed that when I do not want to face my emotional side that I tend to act and think like a 5. One thing for you to look at - are your five traits unhealthy or healthy - and so on for your four's? I would assume that your inherent point would be your "healthiest" numbers.

On another point - my spouse is a definite 8. I have persistently tested him to figure out his MBTI. They are all coming out with different letters - with extremely low scores. His last one was the most lengthiest test - outcome: ISTJ 4,3,4,6. Does this mean he's balanced? This is a military guy. Isn't that an oxymoron?
