: Hal, you aksed in your post: : "If you act like a 7 and have motivations like a 7, does that not make you a 7? : And if you then "fix" those problems so you now act out of the motivations of : a 4w5, does this really mean you were a 4w5 all along, even though all evidence : suggested you were a 7?" : No, it means I was acting out at my point of DISINTEGRATION - being a crazy, unhealthy 7 like 5's often do when they are VERY unhealthy. : Now that I "got a grip" on myself and my problems, I can "relax in 4", and not letting my somewhat domineering 5 wing go all manic into 7. : I have always been a 4w5, but I hope to God I will not be a 4w5 that disintegrates to 7 ever again - it ditroyed me! : Being a type 7 is a whole different story than being a 4w5 disintegrated to 7. See? : -Aislinn Are you sure that you were disintegrating to a 7? 4s disintegrate to 2s. Most 4's are hardly consistent and bounce between their wings throughout their life. Unhealthy manic 4w3 might be what you're speaking about. If you're interested in more extensive info on 4's, there's a book about Thomas Merton portrayed as a 4. It was insightful to say the least. Its like reading a whole book about yourself. I highlighted all the items that really rang a bell with me and I finally quit because I was highlighting the whole book.
