I never had anybody of even vaguely like-mind to talk to and hang out with till I went to university. They just weren't in evidence where I lived and at my school. There are plenty of people at college who aren't like that, and some pretty stupid people too, but if you keep your eyes and ears open you can find those that are, especially if you choose the more intellectual subjects. You should try to improve your maths grades,(maybe they have an equivalence maths test for college entrance like they do here, or make exceptions for older students), and get to college. I think you would enjoy having access to a good library quite apart from anything else. i think you'd enjoy the lectures and seminars though too, though I don't know if they're as intimate as they are over here. You can't spend the rest of your life in your bedroom or you'll always feel alienated. There are people out there who will relate to you and like you, there's no reason why they wouldn't - assuming you can kerb your artificial arrogance a bit. Humility is needed to some degree, as well as personality. Btw, maybe you cut yourself off from people a bit yourself by putting on an act and then feeling that you're separated from them as a performer is from his audience. I used to do that. It's a form of shyness, I think. You have to learn to look into people's eyes and relate directly.
