I have a family member who is like that. i think she may be a 9 though. It's frustrating when she just wont let go of her ideas, she dismisses everyone else's ideas but can give no reason for doing it. She'll just say for example "NO, that cant be right" Don't ask her why unless you want to be yelled at! She is fast to trust TV or any book she reads, so if through one of them she finds that she was wrong about something after all, out comes an excuse, she manipulates her words so that she was only half wrong. It's as close to lying as you can get without flat out lying. I just keep quite around her to avoid disputes, she is my grandma.
