I thought it started with Two (Kalypso), and progressed counter-clockwise, all the way back to Three (Scylla and Charybdis). The last obstacle apparently represents the fine line (between efficiency and quality? between the obligation to be sincere and the necessity of profit? the drive to work and the need to sleep?) that Threes walk in their quest for the most perfect performance in all possible areas.
