I read Geenius' posting. I, too, wondered about type but had no clue about
Howard. I did want to ask if your 7 friend was diagnosed with OCD ( a
DSM V diagnosis) or with Obsessive-compulsiveness (a tendency.) Some
7s turn out to be counter phobic sixes. Tom Condon relates how others
mis-type him as a 7 on occasion. He seems quite sure that he is a CP6.
If your friend is a CP6, then maybe he has OC tendencies. I agree that
forgetfulness does not sound OC on the surface unless it is anger being
compulsively turned into a thought and then forgotten instead of dealt
with as an emotion. Not all OC is about checking and hand washing. ADD
and adhd seem mor likely for a 7 than OCD, but I am an amitoor and only
speculating. If I had OCD, (or ADD) I would consult with a Psychiatrist,
or possibly a PhD. Psychologist (pros.)
