: According to Palmer, Fours scored the highest average on the obsessive/compulsive scale. That kind of surprises me, actually, because it seems to me that Ones would be most prone to OCD. ("Did it wrong, gotta do it again.") I know I have a very mild, non-function-impairing case of what might be related to OCD: I have an intense need (maybe not a need, but more than a desire -- an urge?) for symmetry. For example, sitting in my office now, if I look up and to the right, I can see the roof of the National Guard armory through a four-paned window. The roof fills the lower two panes, is not visible through the upper left pane, and cuts through the upper right pane at an angle. If I happen to look that way, I can't look away until I've adjusted my angle of vision so that the roof line goes exactly into the corner of the upper right pane. Also, I can't look at a picture that's hanging crooked without being overwhelmed by the urge to straighten it.
