That, I suppose, is a tendency of the 1c4 line - the line connected by the two points that, among the Enneagram points, are most obsessed with standards. The fixation on external, objective standards (including the abstract, inconsequential one that you describe) would seem to fit the One more than the Four; still, Fours seem to fit the bill in this way surprisingly frequently. It just goes to show how similar One and Four are - both conspicuously picky about "perfect balance" in one way or another, whether objective or subjective (I have both objective and subjective compulsive standards in this way; in fact, believe it or not, I have a very similar tendency to yours).
