The wind really whips across the bridge (and under it too.) I think you have defined the dynamic. My guess is that the
slower walk also exposes one to the reality that the wind is intense. Maybe some of those jumps were really gusts that
blew people away. Focusing is an antidote to intrusive thoughts, and bike riding on The Bridge takes concentration.
If I stand on the edge of a roof, I can feel my resistance to falling over. My resistance feels like an urge to step over, only
because I equate resisting with action (9 stuff.)
