Perhaps my comments may seem superficial to people who don't know the enneagram. I encourage you to study it. I know the Myers Briggs and find the enneagram much richer and explains much more than the Myers Briggs, especially with regard to basic motivations. Our comments here are necessarily truncated because we assume a certain level of understanding. There is obviously a lot more to it than what is said in these posts and obviously a lot more to our statements than "he is a 2 because he loves children". Have you read any of the enneagram texts?
