Herion, My intent was not clear. When I said that I thought your question
sounded 4-ish, it was not meant as a criticism, nor an evaluation. I was
suggesting that concern about why we act in ways other than our 'type,'
stikes me as a question that does not 'bother' some of the other types.
The fact that one is curious is in my opinion reflective of one's type.
The judgemental aspect of my answer is that I think it is perfectly healthy
for a 4 to act out as any type they want. You asked if it reflected some
unhealthy 5 component, if I recall correctly. I am not in a position to
'know,' but I thought to myself, ' sounds pretty healthy to me.' I find
other ..ologies helpful too and volunteered MBTI as a different window.
The most honest answer I can give is, 'I have not a clue.' My response provoked
follow ups from others who wanted to address a different topic unrelated to
your inquiry. I am being my type. They are being their types. If one
has a very thick skin here one can glean insights. I thought you were asking
a sincere question. I was attempting to give my 'gut' response.
