All of it is definately helpful. Much more can be said on this topic, and I really think it's a fascinating one. I agree that people who have versatile wing-types do feel pulled in different directions. I feel the need to be introspective and understand myself, yet at the same time I have the need and desire to be outgoing and understand and relate to everyone around me. I literally don't know if I'm an extrovert or introvert. It will always be a question in my mind. I also feel the need to have outward success in my life, yet at the same time I strive for genuineness and inner-satisfaction. I'm a walking contradiction. It almost seems that having versatile wing-types creates another sub-type. Example: 4w3&5 But I agree with Dave in that the enneagram should be considered a dynamic tool and not used to "define" someone as such a specific type. When a person is narrowed down like that it tends limit him/her. Thanks again, -Emily-
