Small investment, I suppose, but I'd still like a primer before I jump in. To Walter, or whomever else it may concern: have you taken it? And if so, is it worth it? : Thanks, *********************** Hi Derf, Yes, I've taken it. It's worth it to me because about 10 percent of the questions have been revised to type more accurately. The Riso-Hudson's RHETI Version 2.0 is the one that you use free at the becca message board, or at the Enneagram and the MBTI web site (the Keirsey tester is also clickable from there, and a Jungian function priority test is there too). ******** It has three pages on scoring instructions and how use the three Basic triads (8-9-1 Instinctive, 2-3-4 Feeling, 5-6-7 Thinking), or how to use the three Hornevian Triads (3-7-8 Assertive, 1-2-6 Compliant, and 4-5-9 Withdrawn). These are quite necessary. The last page of RHETI Version 2.5 gives the summary of each enneagram personality type. There are slight changes in wording from the older version 2.0. Overall the tone is more positive on this summary page. The names for Type Three and Eight are changed to Achiever and Challenger. Riso reported briefly on RHETI 2.5 at the Riso-Hudson Enneagram Professional Association meeting in Denver (before the IEA Conference started). He said that questions that effect type 6 and 9 choices on RHETI were sharpened up with clearer language. I bought my Version 2.5 at Denver and compared it with Version 2.0 when I came home. Version 2.5 is a well polished improvement over version 2.0, in my opinion. RHETI Version 2.5 is not yet available at any Internet web site.
