Nothing mentioned about how young people are stupid. It's more of an emotional insecurity rather than a mental one. And while I agree that you CAN think and understand many things after age 6 or 7, your emotional intelligence/stability still does not fully develop until much later.(if ever) > Jeff Emotional intelligence is just as well-developed. It is separate from uncontrollable physical reactions to stress, but these are natural, and smart in their own way. The actual conscious brain can be very emotionally strong, fairly quickly, and know that the physical reaction is illogical or undesirable.
