My opinions and the fact that K.B. is a reactionary. I did nothing to him to merit his infantile outbursts, other than to express opinions about the personality system (not about him) that did not fit the mold here, and with which he did not agree. I did not say anything personal to him; it was he who commenced with the personal backlash. Likewise, K.B.'s backlash to my "bastard" statement is the result of his touchiness, and perhaps an unintended miscommunication. My statement was facetious, and was not meant to be taken as an attack or insult, though I understand why it may have been taken that way, unwittingly to me. It went like this: "If you're going to be a bastard [I meant, presumptuous about guessing people's character types - that was the context of the discussion], I'll play along with you... so, I think such-and-such a poster is this type, etc." All I intended to convey was that I was willing to sidestep my values (be a "bastard," so to speak) for a moment to play along with him.
1. I am not gay, and this unwarranted "homophobic" uprising from K.B. comes from one instance: I referred to him as "sweet 4 angel" in a previous message, and all of the sudden, he started derisively calling me "she" and "little queer." My "I'm-attracted-to-you" joke on the 4 board was a response to that outburst of his, and was not meant to be taken seriously.
2. The "Eggofire8" post, referring to the female posters as "bitches" was not me. It was somebody else, surreptitiously using my AIM screen name. I hoped that anyone who had known me long enough here would realize that I would never say such a thing. I don't know who it was, but I'm glad it was deleted.
So, though I have no desire to please sour pusses and hopeless cynics, I hope that gets a few things straight.
