It's because we don't like each other one damn bit. Neither of us admires the other, or looks up to the other as a role model, or considers the other to be an outstanding person in any way. I laugh at your vulgar histrionics in the way that I would laugh at the insult of a penniless, insane gutter punk on the streets of some decrepit metropolis. And you probably do the same for me. I won't bother to reiterate the ways we disapprove of each other's character, This is one kind of mutual ("dis")likeness that ain't good, it ain't bad, it's just there... yet it's nothing. Nothing substantial, anyway. Insults tend to work best on you if you have positive feelings for the person who's insulting you. And nobody with self-respect will like anyone who would insult him. I might keep on boring you, if it pleased me, and it does in a way. Unabashed vitriol is fun. By setting the moral standards of this communicative exchange to "anything goes," you have put yourself in the position to become my scapegoat in this game of amusement. If this pleases you, we can continue. I'm not sure if it does; you seem to be at odds with yourself... telling me to bug off, yet taking wild shots in the dark at me and offering delicious (if overcooked) fare under pseudonyms. Or, you can quietly walk away, and try to forget that this evil satyr is the same personality type as you. I read your flames, and I see myself. I see myself on a raw, unrefined level, without dignity or poise. If you can't see yourself in me, then you're not looking at your dark side. This dark side of you - this reflection, in yourself, of everything about me that enrages you - still comes out in your messages, whether you're willing to acknowledge it or not. We both know this on an unconscious level. Thus, we both laugh at our silly attempts to put down each other. At least I hope you do. If you don't, look deeper into yourself and realize we're one and the same. Read your own vitriolic posts alongside mine, and deny that.
