Well, a strong sex drive keeps me in my body when a female is around.
For other 5s it's not always so simple but do what you can to get them out and having fun. If they seem hesitant to do something that they REALLY want to do, encourage them with enthusiasm but don't command them. Find their main security issue and use logic to destroy it.
I think you are right about 5s taking their own counsel. What ya gotta do I think is view those boxes like gift boxes... then you need to create gift giving situations. Once a 5 REALIZES you appreciate receiving these gifts (you'll have to make it kind of obvious), slowly you'll get more and more. Ofcourse takes a great deal of patience. What it all comes down to is 5s are greedy with their personal resources and unaware of the fact that exchange of resources is key to human bonding. They need to be made AWARE... most secretly want to bond.
Now, where you really run into trouble is if you hit someone like me... who is AWARE but chooses to play the game to his own greedy advantage... in which case you will NEVER have all the boxes.
