How is it that your notion of "perception" is to evade reasonable thoughts about something your appear to hold sacred? And in holding some ideas on faith, instead of under a microscope in full sunlight seems to me to be rather like filling your head with crap endlessly!! Now, the only way I know of to get rid of useless garbage is indeed to examine and prune. So if you keep stuffing stuff in your backpack, without ever attempting to purge the useless, you will end up lying on the ground and not moving forward again. The man's (Mr. Sceptic, and perhaps this sceptic is a woman, but I can't know which, so I'll use the general form of "man.") comments are polite and thoughtful, and, in my mind totally reasonable. And perhaps needlessd to say, I do agree with him.
