Wow! That it is so great to read about someone who has had such a positive experience with their parents! My experience was so painful and awful, I've been deathly afraid, in my adult life, to have children of my own until very recently. Now that I've resolved a lot of my own issues, I realize that it is really possible to live a different life than the one you were shown. Anyway, reading a post like yours makes me so hopeful and happy! I know that no situation is perfect, but I guess it never occurred to me that people could actually be happy in families before about a year ago.
