One and Six...

Main difference is that when Ones get unhealthy, they became MUCH TOO OVER-CONFIDENT and think that they alone know the Truth. Sixes, on the other hand, are extremely under-confident and look for something on the outside to support them. Both types can be unbending on their positions, but the One gets their position from their superego, while the Six from their external authority.

Sixes are also a lot more emotional than Ones. Ones, deep down, are very emotional and passionate, but they prefer to deal with the world in a detached, cerebral way. They can be mistaken for Fives. Now Sixes show their emotions a lot more easier. They are visibly anxious, especially when phobic, and don't hesitate to bring up any concerns. With 6w7s this is even more and it's pretty difficult to confuse a 6w7 with a 1, but 6w5s can be confused with 1s.

Ones are more likely to want to be leaders. They sometimes feel it is their duty to take charge of the situation and make things right. In this respect, they can be confused for Eights. Sixes would rather follow or be on an equal level with someone. When they become leaders, a lot of times it is because of expectations others have of them.

Ones seek excellence, perfection, correctness, right morality. Sixes seek security, trust, alliances, self-preservation.

PS - the "Dont push me around" attitude is also descriptive of counterphobic Sixes.

> As I further read and observe, I find it a bit hard to differentiate in one way between one and six. Many of those that I know with strong right and wrong value systems also convey a strong defensive attitude. I noticed that oneness seems to go along with an I STAND UP AND DON'T LET ANYONE PUSH ME AROUND attitude. Is there a connection between one and six? Are they connected to eight?
