I'm also a 7w6. I love change and have a wide range of interests. I have an adaptable mind and have had careers in foreign exchange, venture capital, rehabilitation counseling, medical technolgy (MedTech), Hospice, etc. My panel experience with the enneagram has been that they see me with a strong 6 wing. I can be very serious and committed to my work. I have had major losses which would account for my focus, patience and sticking to details. On the other hand, when I am able to play, I enjoy music, theatre, art and life! I appreciate all that I have and am deeply committed to my friends and my Church. I am very cautions when I date and because I can connect with others easily, I meet many people easily. I was happily married but have been widowed for some time. I found the enneagram to be helpful in some ways in that it helped me understand myself and my relationships with others. I also would like to hear from other types, especially guys, as to what is it about a seven attracts you? I have dated a 5 but being more extraverted was less comfortable for him. The 6 had too many fears about "what if it didn't work out?" Untypically, because I have learned I can't live in limbo for sanity reasons, I pushed him to sink or swim. He got out of the water! Humor helps! It would be fun to chat, I'm a grad student in counseling psychology. Thanks.
