As an 8 friend told me one time after a blow up and what I thought was an overreaction, "Don't take any of this personally. I just have to let loose my anger and I come on too strong sometimes.".

Point: 8's anger toward you IS NOT PERSONAL most of the time. They like to test people to see if they can handle them (the 8).
