: : Is charisma a physical attribute or is it merely an emotional response?
I am wondering if this IS a physical attribute is it nature or nurture? If it is an emotional response then is the charisma NOT residing outside of the individual?
: : We say that one has "charisma" but is that an outward manifestation of an internalized physical attribute of that person or is the "charisma" a generalized emotional response to that person by other people?
Jasque: "outward manifestation of an internalized physical attribute..." this means that one has a trait or a quality or "certain something" which is inherent in the personality or physical make-up which is displayed through behaviors or attitudes to the external world of people. My question: Is that really the case or are we calling charisma the emotional response of people to that condition. Ergo: is charisma something that someone has or is it a purely external response of other people to that individual?

: : Does charisma reside more often within the behavioral traits expressed by any particular enneagram point?
You haven't convinced me of this with your examples. My "lovely and charming" is a FOUR and she exudes charisma, if the response of people who have met her is any indication of that condition. And I find that Father Rohr is extremely charismatic... even though we have never met personally.
: : Is a SEVEN more likely to be considered charismatic than say a FOUR or a ONE?
I know what people call charisma... I am not certain though what it is!

: **Sevens and threes are very charismatic types.
