I see some of it, but I'll play devil's advocate for a moment:
I thought that another problem 6's have is following beliefs blindly whether or not they make sense--this came out in the 1 vs. 6 threads. It seems that your definition of standing firm might play into this.
Also, if you act on your beliefs without questioning, and later find the beliefs were wrong, wouldn't that just discourage you from taking action in the future?
