I have always had problems dealing with authority figures, and seem to fall into either phobic or counterphobic 6 mode when faced with one. ---------------------------------------- When you accept yourself as at least equal in authority to anyone else, then you will start to feel freedom from reacting to any perceived authority figures. I guess I'm having trouble seeing the middle ground between running towards or running away. When confronted by an authority, what lies between sticking to your guns and giving in? ------------------------------------------------ Faith, courage, belief. All these lead to confidence, which is essential for determining the right course of action and acting on it.
: At least part of the problem is a mental and emotional one ---------------------------------------- Every enneatype is a mental and emotional problem, just different.
But even when I can quiet my mind and heart, I still have the action question of what to do. -------------------------------------------- A very 6 statement! Mental quieting is the first step. Next is listening to the inner voice inside you. Then, trusting enough to act on it. : - Hal -
